Phase 1: Canine & Visual Forensic Inspection
We begin by playing detective. The golden rule of bed bug control: If you don’t find every harbor, you will fail.
– The Hotspots: We inspect beyond the mattress. We check bed frames, screw holes, headboard alcoves, nightstand drawers, electrical outlet faceplates, loose wallpaper edges, curtain hem folds, and even the spines of books on your bedside shelf.
– The Signs: We use high-lumen flashlights searching for:
– Fecal spots: Digestive waste that looks like black pepper dots.
– Cast skins: Translucent yellow-brown shells shed as nymphs grow.
– Blood smears: Small rust-like stains on sheets from crushed post-feeding bugs.
– Optional K9 Detection: For large homes or ambiguous cases, our trained bed bug detection dog can smell a single live bed bug or viable egg through walls with 98% accuracy, pinpointing the exact location so we treat precisely, not randomly.

Phase 2: Thermal Remediation (The Nuclear Option)
For heavy infestations and master bedrooms in QC, chemical treatment is not enough. We deploy our industrial Thermal Remediation System. We use electric, ceiling-mounted heaters and high-volume fans to gently raise the ambient room temperature to a safe, lethal zone of 135°F to 145°F (57°C to 63°C).
– Lethal Heat Penetration: The thermal mass sensors we place inside your mattress core, inside the dresser drawers, and in the wall void confirm that the “kill zone” temperature holds for a sustained period, usually 2-4 hours.
– Total Wipeout: No bed bug—not even the most pesticide-resistant strain in Metro Manila—can survive this protein denaturing process. Equally important, the heat kills the eggs. This is the game-changer. Pesticides often can’t penetrate the eggshell wall, meaning you need multiple chemical visits as they hatch. With heat, you get total annihilation in a single day.
– What Gets Treated: The convective heat penetrates every crack where bugs hide. The inside of your USB port, the hollow core of a wooden bed leg, the stitching of a floor rug—places where a chemical spray dare not touch.

Phase 3: Selective Chemical & Steam Integration
Heat is our champion, but we fight smart. Some areas cannot take extreme heat (e.g., fine art, certain plastics, delicate antique wood, and electronics). For these, and for the perimeter defense, we integrate:
– Dry Steam Mobs: Our techs use commercial-grade dry vapor steamers operating at over 180°F. We slowly, meticulously steam seams, tufts, and folds of the mattress and sofa. The instant thermal shock kills bugs and eggs on contact with zero chemical residue.
– Residual Barrier Dust: We inject a fine layer of silica-based desiccant dust into wall voids and behind baseboards. This isn’t a chemical nerve agent; it’s a physical destroyer. The microscopic shards scratch the waxy cuticle of any bed bug migrating within the wall. They slowly dehydrate and die. They cannot evolve resistance to being physically cut open and dried out. This long-term protection barrier lasts for years unless washed away.
– IGR Application (Growth Regulators): In specific high-risk cracks, we apply an Insect Growth Regulator that mimics juvenile hormones. Bed bugs that contact this cannot mature into breeding adults, effectively sterilizing any straggler we might have missed.
